Introduction
UNS C18100 high conductivity chromium zirconium copper alloys are the alloys containing chromium, zirconium and copper in specific amounts. They have good strength at high temperatures and excellent wear resistance property. The following datasheet will discuss in detail about the UNS C18100 copper alloys.
Chemical Composition
The following table shows the chemical composition of UNS C18100 copper alloys.

Fabrication and Heat Treatment
Welding
C18100 copper alloys are welded using soldering, brazing, gas shielded arc welding and butt welding. Oxyacetylene welding, seam welding and spot welding are not preferred for this type of alloys.
Forging
C18100 copper alloys are forged at temperatures ranging from 788 to 927°C (1450 to 1700°F).
Hot Working
C18100 copper alloys have excellent hot working property.
Cold Working
C18100 copper alloys have good cold working property.
Annealing
Annealing of C18100 copper alloys is performed at temperatures ranging from 599 to 704°C (1110 to 1300°F).
